We are in Hamilton, where we visited relatives of Don’s later for dinner, but before that, a wander around town and a flat white. We find a very funky coffee shop called Kopi Cafe. “How are ya?” asked the barista. “Tired”, I reply. We order coffee and muffins and take a seat. This is what was delivered to the table…

We also visit Hamilton Gardens. There are 18 themed gardens from around the world. Even though it is early spring and a bit overcast, they are really interesting – Japanese garden, Chinese garden, Italian garden, Egyptian garden, Herb garden, Tudor garden, Māori garden.
