It’s a long drive from Masterton to Castlepoint but boy is it worth it! What stunning rock formations and of course the lighthouse. At the end of the road is a carpark which allows freedom camping so we parked here – sand dunes at the back of the van! We walked up to the lighthouse, my goodness the cliffs are high! We even managed a swim – this place really is wonderful.
