We finally made it to Blenheim after travelling down a road that had suffered during the recent bad weather. We treated ourselves to a lovely lunch at Alan Scott’s Bistro https://allanscott.com/ before heading to Picton to catch the ferry.

As the weather had improved, we had a beer overlooking the harbour in Picton and reflected on our South Island journey. Our sailing was smooth and it was good to see the lights of Wellington Harbour.

We are almost at the end of our grand tour and it feels strange closing the circle as we retrace our steps back up to Coromandel. We will be sharing some more pictures and thoughts over the next few weeks so please do keep an eye out!
